How can I check my data use on an Android device?

To check your current data use on an Android device:

Go to Settings
Select Network & Internet
Select Internet
Select Settings next to your carrier

Then, look at the top for total data usage for your existing billing cycle. You can also check how much usage an individual app used by selecting it in the list of applications.
