The Network Builder auction process consists of three phases: the Discovery Phase, the Release Phase, and the Network Expansion Phase.  

Phase One is the Discovery Phase, live from 22 December 2025. This is where you explore the full Opportunity Map, explore Hexes across the United States, and save the ones you want to operate to your watchlist. That watchlist activity acts as a demand signal, helping shape which Hexes are prioritized and released first in early Release Phase auction batches. 

To get started, go to the Opportunity Map. You do not need to log in to browse. Select any Hex to view key details like population density, number of buildings, and the starting bid, which is calculated using coverage and capacity planning inputs. Then save your target Hexes to your watchlist so you can track them and help signal demand during the Discovery Phase.
