How much data does Scan for Points use?
Scan for Points uses approximately 2-4 KB of data per heartbeat. The actual data usage may vary depending on your Scan Settings, location and the networks detected in your area. The more you scan, the more data you consume.

In order to begin scanning, your mobile device requires a SIM card. Additionally, data, either cellular or WiFi, is required to record your scans successfully.
